Collection: Axinite

From the Greek αξίνα ("axina") for "axe", in allusion to the common habit of it's sharp-edged crystals, which can be considered a positive identification feature. Large clean Axinite specimens are rare. Most crystals have some inclusions, usually in the form of delicate veils.
